ROEBUCK ROAD BRIDGE LOAN, £5500.
NOTICE is Hereby Given that at a special Meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council, held on the 13th day of March, 1906, the following resolution was passed: 11 In pursuance and exercise of the powerß vested in it in that behalf by “ The Looal Bodies Loans Act,, 1901,” the Gisborne Borough Counoil hereby resolves as follows - “ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and otber charges on a loan of £5500, authorised to be raised by the Gißborne Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for erection of a Bridge over the Taruheru Biver at R n ebuck Hoad, the said Gisborne Borough Council hereby makes and levies a Speoial Bate of IJd in the £ upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Gisborne, as defined by the N.Z. Gazette of 9th June, 1904, No. 48, Folio 1490. “ That such Special Bat 9 shall be an annually rrcurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th Juno and the 31st December in each and every year during the ourrenoy of suoh loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
