DIED IN SOLITUDE.
(Per Press Asaocdation.) Christchurch, last night.
Henry Maddocks, 78 years of age, liviDg alone in the scrub near the cemetery at Kaiapoi, was found dead in his toot yesterday morniDg. About ten days ago he had expressed his intention of going to Christchuroh as an out-patient at the hoßpitßl. The condition of the body iudioated that death had taken plaoe some days ago.
