Wellington, has placed the local offisa in the position of being able to declare a reoord quarter for tbo colony and a record j total for Wellington for the financial year ~j which onded yesterday. The lo‘al for the i quarter ot Wellington is £201,049 17s lid, j as against £176,899 11s lOd for the cor- * responding quarter of 1905. The pro- ■ vious record was £196,029 12s lOd, which , figures ate shown for the third quflrig£__of last year.
