Council, held on the 13th day of Match, 190 G, the following resolution was parsed: “In pursuanoa and exercise of the powers 1 vested in it in that behalf by “The Looal Bodies Loans Act,, I=ol, 11 the Gisborne 1 Borough Counoil hereby resolves as follows “ That, for the purpose of providing the ' interest and other charges on a loan of £5500, authorised to be raised by the 1 Gisborne Borough Council under the 1 above-mentioned flci, for crcotion of 1 a Bridge over the Taruheru River at Roebuck Road, the said Gisbcrne Borough Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of ljd in the £ upon the rateable value ; of all rateable property within the Borough 1 of Gisborne, as defined by the N.Z. Gaaette of 9th June, 1904, No. 48, Folio 1490. “ That such Special Rate shall be an annually rrourring rate during the currency of suoh loan, and be payable half yearly on the 30th Juno and the 31st December in eaoh and every year during the oimnoy of suoh loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
