WAIKOHU ROAD BDARD.
A SPECIAL MEETING of tho Wai" kohu Road Board will be held on MONDAY, April 91I), at 3 p.m., lor the purpose of making the following Special Order :
11 In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in thorn in that behalf by ‘Tho Local Bodies’ Loans Act, l9ol,’ the Waikohu Road Board does hereby resolve as follows :
“ That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Loan of £SOOO, extending over two successive years, authorised to be raiaed by the Waikohu Road Board, under the pro* visions of ‘‘The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for erecting a Cart Bridge across the Waipaoa River, at the lvanaeknnae crossing, the said Waikohu Hoad Board does hereby make : and levy a Spec'al Rate of One filth of a Penny in the jEI upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Kattaekanae Bridge Special Rating District, as follows, and that such Special Rate shall be an annual roourring rato during the oarrenoy of such loan, and bo payable half-yearly on the first day of January •and tho first day of July in eaoh and overy year duriDg a period equal to tho ourronoy of euoh loan, boing a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off, The rate of interest to be 4 per cent." Commencing at a point on the Waikohu River, being tho intersection of tbo western boundary of Poututu Block 2,4, 82, and proceeding thence by tho oentroof that river to the Waipßoa River, thence by the centre of that river to the RaDgatira ford at Karaka, thenoe by the oontie of tho main road to its intersection with the western boundary of the Ruangarehu Block, thenco by that boundary to tho eootre of the Waipaoa River, tbenoo towards tho south-east by the centre of that river to the south-western boundary of tbo Ngakoroa No. 2 Block, thenco towards the no-tb east by a publio road to the Manga'.aikehu Stream, thenoe by the centro of that stroam and the 0: litre of the Tapuitara and Hurunui Streams to the southern bounlary of the Papakorokoro Blook, thenoo by tho southern end eastern boundaries of that block, and the Waibora No. 2 Blook to tbo Urumatai Stream, thence easterly to a right line to a point being tho production of a right lino drawn from trig 134 !o tr-'g 129, thenco by a right line to trig 134, thenoe by another right line to trig 169, tbonoe by a right lice to trig Tangibanga, tbcnce mrlh-westerly by a right lino to the western boundary of Tutamoe. No. 1 Blook, thence south-wes-terly by the boundaries of that block and the Waipaoa No 3, v Block, thenoo southeasterly by tho south-western boundaries of that block to the Wamgaronra Stream, Ificnee by the oentro of that stream to ths Wa ; taogi Stream, thenoe westerly by t'ao boundar'oi of WaiUpgi No, 1, No. 2c, No. 2jj Blocks, and the Pakake-a-Wbirikoka B'ock to the centre of the Wdipaoa river, thenoe southerly by the centre of that river to its junotion with Ihe Wheao Stream, thecce noitherly and westerly by the oentre of that stream to a point being the intersco ion of a line being the eastern boundary of Blook XIV., MaDgatu Survey District, thenos northerly by that line to the Urukokomoko Stroam, thence by the oentre of that stream to the northern b undary of Poututu B 6 Block, theDce easterly by tho boundaries of Poututu Block to the north-west oorner of that block, thenoe southerly by the western boundary of Poututu Block to the Waikohu river, the point of oommenoßment.
