On boing informed that a disturbance was going on, Constablos Ross and Hulliday wont to tho liouso and domandod admittance. Tlioy had somo troublo in getting in, as a man armod with a gun is alleged to liavo pointed it at them. Tho constables pluclcily advancod on tho man, and succeeded in throwing and disarming him. It was then found tho gun was an old ono, not capablo of doing much harm.
