STORMY PASSAGE-
THE KOTARE ENCOUNTERS VERY HEAVY WEATHER.
The p.s. IvoSare experienced very rough weather on the run down from Auckland. The vessel left Auckland at 9 30 on Tuesday evening, and ran into a heavy southeaster eroesiog the Bay of Plenty. The gale lasted ell Wednesday and at oighq during which time the vesssl could only make about a oouple of miles an hour. The heavy seas were broaking right over the vessel, and those on board had anything but a pleaeaDt t’ma. The East Oape wbb passed at nine o’clock yesterday morningi snl tbo vessel was berthed at the wharf at six o’clook.
