At the Mrg'atrate’s Oocrt to-day, Wm, George Bmitu, who had been in ibe employ of Charles Begg and Company, musio sellers, pleaded guilty to a number of chargee of emblezzlement and forgery, and was committed for sentence to the Soptcma Court at Christchurch.
