Mr Sheridan (masquerading as Mrs Dooley) was dismotly successful in the character of Marv ,3 oc “y. and throughout the evening kept the house in roars of laughter by his P ever acting. Miss Heba Barlow won the highest encomiums for her pourtrayal of Polly Belcher (a Yaukee girl), for which part she appeared to be eminently adapted making the most of/'every point that offered.
