ISOLITION SITE DECIDED OE
A meeting of the Charitable Aid Boar was held last evening, when there wei present: Mr Townley (chairman), an Crs Harding, Whinray, Lyimar,.. an Oolley. The committee appointed to sele: a sits for an Isolation Ward reported tha they met on the sth inst. Several local’ ties wero mentioned, and the meeting ra solved to adjourn for a week to enabl offers of sites to be obtained, At a sul sequent meeting several sites were oor sidered, and after viewing the locality i was agreed to recommend the Board t purchase about two acres from the owne of the seotion south of the Hospite, grounds, as this seemed the most euitabk The report wa9 adopted. The Custodian of the Old Men’s Horn reported that there were 11 inmates in tb Home, one having died daring the month Gifts were received with thanks from tb following :—Magazines, eto., Poverty Ra; Club, Gisborne Library, and Messr Common anl Webb; magazines ani&oVi Mr Rees; clothte, Mr Lardelli.
A oonsiderable amount of routine bust ness was transacted.
Messrs Colley and P. T. Ksnway wer appointed a visiting oommitvtq for tb month.
