Nelson, last night. At a thoroughly representative and enthusiastic meeting of citizens held tonight, and addressed by Mr Molotyre, travelling representative of the International Exhibition, it was deoided that Nelson should be represented at the exhibition as a province. At the Motueka Licensing Committee meeting it was deoided to defer applications for renewal licenses to two wholesale houses at Motueka until new buildings were in course of erection, and up-to date houses were required. The polioe asked that one country license be not renewed, as the lioensee wa3 not in a fit condition to oonduot the house properly. The matter was deferred to enable a transfer to be made to a fit person*
