(Pet Press Association.) Wellington, last night. The cricket ma'ch Hawke’s Bay v. Wellington ended yesterday in nn easy win I for the local eleven. With eight wickets down for 409 Wellington resumed, their inoing3 olesing for 442 ; Upham, not out, I 26 ; Mahony, run out, 49. In the first inniDgs the visitors only made 61, against the bowling of Tucker and Upham, Tfcs princ’pat sorrerß were White 14 and Hall ! 12, ■’’Tucker toik seven wickets for 31, Upham three for 22.' Following on, the 'visitors again collapsed, Redgrave and Hales this t'mo being the destructive element’. All were disposed cf for 59. Lusk 17 and Fenton 16 were the only two to reach double figures. Redgrave took five wiokeis for 37 and Hales two for 17. Wellington won by sn innings and 322 runs.
