TURANGANUI CLUB,
favored with fino weather tboro was n good mus'er of bowlers at the above club’s groan on Saturday, somo interesting games boirrg p'aydo. Afternoon toa was provided by Sirs Hird, and was muoh op priciatad. Daring the afternqan the bowlers sssombled, and the president (Mr G. MatthewsoD) referred to the approaching visit of Mr B. Hird to Eoglund. On behalf of the numbers he thaoked Mr Hird for his efforts for the club ; he was a good workiog momber and an enthusiastic player, and would be missed on the green. Tfco president wished Mr Hird “ bon voyage,” and the health of the departing member was enthusiastically drunk.
