HOLY TRINITY CHURCH.

The special services to be held in the above ohnroh to-morrow advertised in'this issue will mark a distinct epooh in the history of the Chucoh of Eoglaud in Poverty Bay. In developing the soheme for ohnroh extension, tbe authorities have seonred an addition living agent, who will aot as assistant to the Vicar of Trinity Church. Mr H. H- N. Wright, of Si. John’s College, Auokjand, who has accepted the position, will be ordained to (he Diacooate in Trinity Chusch at 11 o’clock to morrow. It js stated that the ordination servioes are the most beautiful of the rites of the English Church, and such services never fail to draw great congregations in tbe English and Colonial Cathedrals, In tbe history of Poverty Bay there has never baen an ordination of Europeans. In the evening at 7 o’olock the Bishop of Waiapu will administer tbe solemn rite of confirmation, A large number of candidates are to be presented by the Vicar. Tbe church warders have devised a soheme for largely increasing the seating accommodation of Tdaity Ohuroh. A cordial invitation is issued to parishioners and townspeople generally, and also to strangers and visitors to the parish to attend the morning and evening servicss to-morrow. There will be a children’s service in the chnroh to-morrow afternoon at 2 45.
