DISCOVERED IN CHRISTCHURCH HOSPITAL. i (?« Press Association.) Christohuroh, last night. A startling rumor was current to-night to the effeot that a case of leprosy had been discovered at the Cbristchuroh Hospital. The authorities are very retioent, but it appears in eflsot that a day or two ago a young man was discovered to be afftcted with the disease. That it is a genuine oaße of leprosy there oan 1 be no doubt. The acting-Ohief Health Officer arrived this morntDg, and the oase was, it is underslood, removed during the morning to Bottle Lake Infectious Disease Hospital, and isolated. Every precaution was taken to isolate the patient ns soon at the true nature of the disease was recognised.
