PROGRESS CF DAIRY INDUSTRY (Per Press Association.) Palmerston North, last night. At tho annual meeting of tho Manswatu A. and P. Association to-day the profits for tho year were reported to bo £742 lls 9d. Tho retiring president, Mr Cohen, delivered an exhaustive speech. Referring to the agricultural and pastoral indus'ry on tho AVesl Coast between Otoki and New Plymouth, ho said tho value of the export of butler and obeoso from the ports between New Plymouth and Wellington to March 31,1905, was £1,153,362, out of a total of £1,878,500 for tho colony. The total prize-money dislributed in ten years by tho Maoawalu Sooiety was £10,416, and £4812 had bo n paid in salaries and labor, and £4OOO for contract?, etc, bringing into circulation a'togrtbor £19,258. It was decided to ho'd a horse show on th-o I'nos of the Dublin horee show in 1907.
