1. Horses entering for District Baoe to h&vn been in the district and the bona fide property of residents, for at least three months previous to races. 2. The handioappor shall have power to re-handicap horses after the declaration of weights and throughout the meeting. 3 Jookeys riding in races to wear colors. 4. Protests to be lodged with the Secretary, in writing, within 15 minutes after the disputed event, and accompanied by a deposit of £2. Suoh deposit to be forfeited should the protest not bo sustained. 5. Nominations for races 1,3, 5, and 7, together with the name, age, pedigree, and performances of horse, and colors of riders, to be in the hands of the Secretary, on or before MABOH 3rd. Weights declared on MABCH 19th. Acceptances MABCH 24th at Tnparoa Hall. 6. Entries, eta., by telegram, must be con firmed in writing at the earliest opportunity, under a penalty not exceeding £lO. (Vide rule 45). 7. No nominations or acceptances will be entertained unless accompanied by necessary fees,' M 8. In the evont of telegraphic communication being interrupted, either on the day of nominations or acceptances, they will be deferred until one day after communication ia renewed. 9.
