TURANGANUI CLUB, toon* On Saturday aftorooon much interest was manifested in the semi-final of the Handicap Fairs held by the abovo clnb, the result being—
Hailey Mackrell ! Morrisop, skip 26 Na-initb, jar, Bk 16 Maokroll nod Nasmith secured the leal, but were quickly overhead by t"e r opponents, who were 6 to 3 on the sth head. Playing in grand stylo on short h-adsj Hailey and Morrison rattled up fiheir spore, boing 16 to 3 oo the 10th head. On oppruaching the 15th head, Maokreil and Nasmith njisde a splendid recovery, and on the 18th head woro within four of their opponents. Hailey and Morrison, however, were not to be denied, and scor . ing on the last three heads wan by a safe margin.
Toe final now remains to he played between Hailey and Morrison acd Jenne and Martin, a Bplendid game being anticipated,
