Wellington, last night, A moating convened by the Mayor was isld this evening to consider what stops honid be taken towards the establishment i a free art gallery in Wellington. The aeeting passed a resolution pledging itself o raise sufficient funds to enable advanage to be taken of the Government offer f JEpOO subsidy. A committee was aplointed to give effect to this resolution.
