Other mobs were a mixed lot of 2300 going to the Matawhero ea'e from Mr White’s at Makomako. and upwards of 4000 wethers from Mr K. 8. Williams’ s’ation at Tuparoa in oharge of Mr J. Woodford. Mr Leslie Oates was in oharge of a fine lino of Lincoln ewes, which ho was taking fr:m Mo;srs Barker Bros.’ Lowdeu Hills property to their Rukatnre station.
