CRISIS AT TONGA.
KING GEORGE WANTB TO ABDI CATE OVER A ROAD ROW.

A serious orisis is reported to have arisen at Tooga between King Goorge aad the British Consu 1 , Mr Hunter.
The dispute is over tbe construction of a road through the King's private grounds at Tufa.
The Consul stated that the Governor c-f Fiji desired the road as a necessity, but the King considers it sn outrage, only to be submitted to because Britain is powerful and Tonga weak. The King wishes to abdicate as a proteat.
