The total for the forty-third week of the New Zealand egg-laying competition is 1580, making a grand aggregate of 75,859, and ihe weekly average per pen 15.80. The highest layiDgs for the week were Leger’s white leghorns, 30 ; Worthington Bros’ silver wyandottes, Auckland, 29 ; Aldridge’s white leghorns, Blenheim, 26; West’s white wyaodotles, Feilding, 26 ; Hotohieon’s blaok orpingtons, Auckland, 26.
The order of merit in the grand aggregate is: Leger, of Levin, 1119; Brooks, of South Australia, 1090; Marlborough A. and P. Association, 1063; Jonathan Hodson?, Blenheim, 1041; Mick Shaw, Blenheim, 1037; Hookey, NelsoD, 1003.
