CHARGE OF OCTAL VOTING.
(Per Press Association.) Ashburton, last night, Matthew Finlay Patterson, oharged with having on December 6th, on the oooaaion of the eleotion of a member for the House of Representatives, after having once voted in tho electorate again applied for a voting paper, was committed for trial at the Supreme Court. Bail was allowed.
