AM EARTHQUAKE
MUCH EXCITEMENT.
(Per Press Association.) Ekotahuna, last night. The soverost shock of earthquake felt since 1904 occurred here at 8 this morning. The direction was east to west. People rushed into the streets, and several women fainted. The plaster was much oracked in the Post Oilioe. The stock in some of the shops was slightly damaged. Feilding, last night. A Blight shock of earthquake was ielt at 9.11 this morning. ■ ' \ .
