SEARCH FOR TREASURE

(Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night. Mr Gow’s party, wbioh went north a few days ago in order to recover the treasure lost in the wreck of the Elingamite, returned to Auckland to-day. The search was unsuccessful. The diver went down five times, but saw no trace of the treasure. The wreck has almost dhap-, peered, and the party think there is now no hope oi success.
