Tbe committee resolved to decline to pay tbe amount, and that the Canterbury representatives in tbe New Zealand team should bo notified on their arrival- at Auckland that, as tho branch was . buspended, they bad become disqualified players. It was also resolved to bring the mafer beforo tho English Rugby Union.
