He believed Queensland was going to have a boom time, but, if so, ho should have it on honest lints. Queensland would do better by depending on bee resources and by being careful about further borrowing than by rushing into another boom. Thoy were going to have a goad time after five bad years, He hoped it would be without a horrible aftermath, which was the inevitable outcome of reckless borrowing.
