I Dargaville, last n'ght. I A meeting of the trustees of the Northern I Wairoa hospital accepted the resignation of Drs Collios and Horton, who resign as I a protest again t the subscribers' system I in vogue at tbe institution, and who have I determined upon active resistance to the system. Both medicos will remain in private practice and oppose successful applicants for the position on the med'eal staff. The Trustees are advertising for two doctors, one at £350 aud one at £l5O per annum. The Trustees estimate a deficiency for tho year cf £599, plus £463 for charitable aid casoj lest year, and a demand is being mado on tho North of Auckland Charitable Aid Board. The position is exoiting muoh attention.
