A- DISTINCTION WITHOUT A DIFFERENCE. [(Per Press Association.^Ashburton, last night. The Stipendiary Magistrate takes exception to the' telegraphed report of bis judgment with regard to his interpretation of what a package is in Friday’s liquor oases. The telegram states that a package was "something containing liquor, the actual appearance of which did not give any indication of its contents.”
The Magistrate states his definition of a package was "something containing liquor, the outward appearanoe of whioh did not plainly indicate its actual contents,”
