(Per Press Association.) Blenheim, last night. The total for the thirty-ninth week of the New Zealand egg laying competition was 1508, making a grand total of 71,087, and a weekly average per pen of Jo 81. The highest laying of the wosk was : Miss Maiorie MoOallum’s white Leghorns 21, Arthworth's siivoc Wyancbt'es 29, Hick- | man’s brown Leghorns 28, Steel’s white Leghorns 28, Nauminu’s stiver Wyandottea 26. Tho order of merit in the grand aggregate is: Legate of Levin 1116, Brooks of South Australia 1017, Marlboruugh A. and P. Association 996, Mick Shaw, Benheim,974, and Jonathan Hodson, Bienheim. All these pons being with white Leghorns.
