ZANITACOIMBATORE COLLISION

An inquiry was opened into the ZanitaCoimbatore collision. Two seamen gave it as their opinion that if the lifeboat bad been launched the two men seen on the Coimbatore's boat could have been saved. It wae granted, however, that unless the oaplain of the Zanita was sure his vessel was safe it would not have besn wise to send the lifeboat away.
