At a meeting of the Harbor Board yesterday the award in the case of Tuck v. the Board was referred to the Works and Tariff committee, with power to pay the amount awarded by the arbitrator (£1891), and with in structions to report further on the whole matter. The annual report of the Gas Company states that there has been a considerable increase in the consumption of gas. The reserve fund has been increased to £25,000. The net price of gas is now os 5d per thousand feet. A dividend of 5 per cent was paid on July last, and the directors recommend a similar dividend for the past half year. Dunedin, last n’ght. The fifth and sixth rounds of the rink championship were completed this morning. In section A, Qresn Island, with six wins, and in section C, North End and Invercargill, also with six each, secure sectional prizes
