AFFAIR ENSHROUDED WITH MYSTERY. By, telegraph, Press Ass’n, Copyright Received 10 p.m., Jan. 24. Now York, Jan. 24. A mystery surrounds the Aquidabam disaster. Those saved are unable to offer any ex* planation. The New York Herald states that the explosion was oaused by a short circuited cleotrical wire. Those on the vessels lying near at hand heard a loud report. The Aquidabam seemed torn asunder qd3 eaDk immediately without outcry. Any aboard were asleep.
