(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, last night. At a meeting of tho Criokot Council tonight the eommitioo appointed to enquire into tho alleged wateriug of the wioket during the Otsgo-Oantsrbury matoh reported that after hearing the evidence tboy had unanimously eome to tho conclusion that the wioket had not been watered or tampered with in any way whatever. Tho umpires fur the matoh state they are oompletely satisfied that the rolling of the wioket after tho rain whioh fell during the morning was qujte sufficient to account for the damp appearance thereof. Tho report was adopted. j
