GREAT DAMAGE AT SAMOA. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night. The ilow of lava front Stvaii volcano, Same a, on Dooomber 28th. took with it then -’fining houses of Toapaipai village. Tho onij uildiogs now remaining are the Catholiot jLondon Mission churches. Tho damage is very great. Last year tho Toapaipai copra crop was 3000001 b. Tho lava is now within 50 utiles of Malucola plantations, but they are not in any immedia'o danger.
