A GREAT FUNERAL. GREYMOUTH IN MOURNING. (Per Press Association.) Greymoutb, last night. At the inquest held on Saturday altarnoon tonobing tho dsath of Walter Thomas Cooks, who waß killed by the explosion of ""■detonators at Forsyth and McKay's, ironmongers, the jury returned a verdict of accidental death, no blame beiog attachable to anyone. To-day the remains were interred in tho cemetery with military honors. * It was the largest funeral eyer hold in the town, tho streets beiDg lined with people. Deceased was highly respoeted, and the town was in mourning. Special references were made in the ohurobes to the sad death. Deceased was captain of the Batta'ion Band, and the Band members acted as chief mourners.
