NAVAL DEMONSTRATION BY FRANCE.
AMERICA’S FEELINGS HURT.
By telegraph, Press Ass'n, Copyright Received 4.33 p.m., Jan. 21. New York, Jan. 20. There are throe French warships on the Venzaola coast, awaiting the arrival of two others. Don Castro’s coal treatment of Mr Ras3ell, United S atas Minister, is resented in Washington, and it is likely that American warships will be sent. It is believed that Venezuela intercepted three important French despatches. France postpones further dissuasion of grievances until an apology is received for M. Ta'goay’s treatment.
