(Per Press Association.) Wellington, last night. An inquiry into the sinking of tho scow Oban at Wellington Heads on tho night of Dacombor Slet was held to-day by Dr McArthur, SM. Captains Post and Stvory we e the assessors. The evidence given was generally ia acoord with the statements made at the time of tbo mishap. Tho master of tho tug Duco stated that he did net hoar any voioes from the ecow after dark. H's theory was that ono of tho scow’s anchors can ied away, aod when it took tbo bottom the vessel’s bows were submerged, the crow loiDg thoo washed ovotbeard.
