ROW IN DROVER'S CAMP.
A MAN FATALLY INJURED. FINDING OF MURDER. fr' j nO-i Wagga (N.S.W.), Jan. 7. A peculiar case involving a finding of murder against two men occupied the Deputy Coroner all day. On Friday evening Frederick ‘.Toysbin, John Moms, FraDk Griffin, Bnd Griffiths were camped on the Alfredtown reserve about 10 miles from Wagga. Some distance away was a sheep drovers’ camp, at which a man named John Marshall wss awaiting the arrival of the sheep, which were being travelled. About eeven o clock Toysbin and Morris went to the drovers’ camp, and on the following morning Griffin saw Toysbin lying unconscious some distance from their camp, and seeing he was badly injured he sent for the police, and then watched by his mate until the amval of Sergeant Coveney and- Senior-Constable Young, who' removed Toyebm tcrtbe WBgga Hospital, where be died on Monday without having regained consciousDB John Morris deposed that on arrival at the drovers' camp Toysbin (the deceased) asked Msrsha'l for Borne meat. shall replied, “No, you. oan. get hath, ing here. I have no use for cad- | gere.” ‘ Witness said, “ Who do you j call a OBdger?” and was about to turn away when he saw Toysbin strike Marshall. The latter ran to where a fire had been, picked up a stick and hit Toysbin, who had followed,a hard blow on the head* ! fell-ng him. Whilst Toyßbin was on the ground, he caught hold of the slick, and as Marshall strove to pull it from him, witness ran up and struck Marshallsevs: ral blows, knocking him down. Whilst : witness was piokiog Toysbin up Edwin John Cain rode up, and dismounting attacked witness with a stick, he dodged ell the blows except one. The Deputy Coroner retained a finding of murder against Marshall.and Cain, who did non give evidence,and committed them for trial at tho Albury Circuit Court on April 9,
