A SYDNEY SENSATION
WOMAN CHARGED WITH MURDERING PROMINENT ATHLETE. OVERDOSE OF MORPHIA. By telegraph, Press Ass’n, Copyright Received 1,2 a.m., Jon. 9. Sydney, Jan. 8. Annie Johnston was committed for trial for tho wilful murder of Harry Diamond, a prominent athlete, brother of the wellknown cricketer, by administering an overdose of morphia. They visited several hotels togother. Subsequently Diamond was found unconscious on the Btroot and died. Johnston was addicted to morphia, A quantity was found in her possession.
