'Poet and Telegraph Christmas and New Year Holidays, 1905-6. Postal Branch.—Mondays, the 25;h December and let January (Christmas ‘ and New Year’s Days), will be observed as close holidays. . . On Tuesday, the 26;h met. (Boxing ’ Day), the Poet Offioe will be open in all branches, excepting Money Older and Uavinga Bank, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Posting boxes will' be cleared on the 1 eveniDgs of Saturdays, the 23rd and 30sh instant; the usual clearance will also be made on the morniDgs of the 25th inst. ji and' Ist prox. Mails usually despatched Fon Mondays will close a 7.30 p.m- on 7tSsaturdays, the 23rd and 30th mstant, PTollbwed by supplementary mails made up early on the Monday mornings. On the 26th lost, the usual despatch of mails up to 8 a.m. will he made ; posting boxes cleared accordingly. A letter-carriers’ a-livery will be made on the afternoons 'of the 23rd and 30th irist. On the 26th iDst., one complete delivery by carriers will be made, each carrier staiting on his walk at 8 a.m. On Saturday evenings, the 23rd and 30th inet., a delivery of town letters will be made between 7 and 8 p.m., at the Post Office wicket. Telegraph Office. —On Monday (Christ mas Day) Sunday hours will be observed —viz , 9.80 to 10 a.m., and 5t05 30 p.m. Tuesday (Boxing Day) and Monday (New Year’s Day) the offioe will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 7 p.m. till midnight. The Telephone Exchange will observe Holiday hoars on Christmas Day—viz., 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. On BoxiDg Day and New Yeans Day gontinuous attendance as usual from 7 a .m to 11 p.m.
