St. Petersburg, Deo. 24. Troops at Moscow stormed and captured a'l tho stroot barricades. They frustrated an attempt to capture the town hall and Nicholas railway station, chiefly by capturing tho workmen’s mooting place. After a duel with revolvers and bombs versus artillery, stores, arms, ammunition were seized. A monument to Sohaumann, General BobrikofTs assassin, is being erected at HelsiDgfors. He is every where named the Finnish William Tell.

Cannon moved down many all Saturday night. Troops bivouacked in the principal streets of Moscow. At dawn they renowned the conflict. The rebels employing a Maxim gun the troops replied with grape. They received a double allowance of vodka. Though the fighting is being continued, it is expected the Government will be able to strike a crushing blow at the extreme revolutionaries, and arreßt almost all the revolutionary leaders. An extensive system of espionage has rendered St. Petersburg strangely quiet.

St. Petersburg, Dee. 25. Events at Moscow reveal extraordinary strength and determination on the part of revolutionaries. When the general strike was ordered all business ceased. Admiral Dubanoff, exereisiog tho powers of dictator, employed tho whole police and garrison to prevent meetings and disarm the people. The original plan contemplated commencing armed resistance at St. Petersburg by the arrest of Count do Witte and the seizure of the quickfirers, provoking a mutiny amoDg the troops, and establishing a provisional Government. The sudden arrest of the leaders forced Moscew to take the lead. A band of 500, armed with bombs, magazine rifles,- and revolvers assembled at Filler’s school on Friday night to prepare at dawn to seize the Nioholas terminus, cut the railway communication with St. Petersburg, storm the State bank, proclaim the Czar’s deposition, and form a provisional Government. Troops surrounded Filler’e school and gave the meeting an hour to surrender. When the hour bad nearly elapsed the revolutionaries openod fire, killing two officers. The troops commenced firing, but bombs were thrown, and forced them to retreat until the artillery arrived. They bombarded the school. Some rebels fled and others hoisted the white flag and surrendered. Eight rebels were killed and 32 wounded, including Filler. One hundred and twenty were arrested, inoludiog prominent members of the strike committee and council of the workmen’s delegates. A quantity of arms and bombs was seized. Later the offieo of tho eeeret police was wrecked by means of bombs, killing several police. Another band nltaoked Nicholas stat'on When reputed they erect'.d barricades, defending them with rifles, revolvers, and bombs. Furious fighting continued all Saturday. The rebeh displayed desperate courage. Though often dispersed they soon returned and resumed tho fight.
