PROVIDENCE SMILES ON NEW ZEALAND. .(For Press Association.) Auokland, last night. This afternoon Me Soddon reooived an addro33 from tho old age pensioners, of whom about 500 ware prosont. In reply, Mr Saddon spoke on tho benefit of the pensions system, and said the oouutry oould well afford tho increased oost. Providence had stuilod on Now Zealand since the poor bad been provided for. Their example had been followed in Australia, aud a similar measure would probably be eventually adopted in the Old Country,
