IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in them in that behalf by 11 The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1001,” and “ The Counties Act, 1886,” the Cook County Council do hereby resolve as follows: “ That for the purpose of providing the in'erest and other charges on a loan of £350, authorised to be raised by the Cook County Council under the provisions of “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901,” for Forming a Road from Te Aroha Woolshed to Mills’ Homestead, the said Cook County Council do hereby make and levy a Ppecial Bate of Two-fifths of a Penny in the £1 upon the Ratable Valuation of all Ratable Property of the Aroha Loan District No. 2, comprising Okahuatiu 2C, sections 1,4; Okahuatiu 20, section 2 ; Okahuatiu 2D, 1,2 A, 3,2 B; and that such Special Rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and bo payable half-yearly on the Ist day of January and the Ist day of July in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, < , being a period of 26 years or until the loan is fully paid oil, the rate of interest to be 5 per cent.”
