Tne visitors batted first, and put on 131 runs, Oampbe'l played a sound innings for 55. Dsrecourt scored 18 and J. Hansen 23. Robinson, Gibson, Cato, and G^oin* 3 '; divided the bowling honors, With an hour and a half in which to make the runs United made the pace merry, the runs comiDg at a great paev Sheridan played a fine innings for 57 (not out), his cutting and hitting being good. Cato played a particularly aggressive innings, knocking up bis scoro of 34 (not out) in a very short space of time. W. Gibson (22) and Hallamore (20) 01-. o batted well.
