Hervey was acquitted ou a charge of attempting to shoot Walter Baker, the actnr. rTbe trial of Howie for shouting Mrs Wortley at Glonelg resulted in the prisoner being adjudged insane. During a family quarrel at South Yarra Arthur Ferres fatally slabbed his mother.
