Tho sum of £4399 was put through the totalisator, bringing the total up to £10,173 for the meeting, being £4502 less than tho corresponding meeting la<t year. Following are tho results : Slewards’ Handicap Sir Peroival 1, Barca 2, Pepatana 3. Pushful, who was favo-ite, got left at the post and took no t -.o in the raoe. Won comfoitibly by a length and a half, Papatawa a head away third. Time 2.36 4-5. Divs. £3 14s and j 18s.

Hurdles—Geologist 1, Iseult 2, Cassiopea 3. Sloepwell, Lull, Florio aod Rosegrove were soratohed. Won throughout by two lengths at tbo finish, Cassiopoa a length away third. Time 3.4 45.
