ELECTION NOTICE. EASTERN MAORI ELECTORAL DISTRICT. NOTICE OF DATES OF NOMINATION AND POLLING. IN pursuance of “The Electoral Aot 1005,” I, John Brooking, Beturnirg Officer for the Eastern Maori Eleotoral District, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the 22nd day of November, 19C5, under the hand of the Clerk of tho Writs, an Election will be held for the return of a legally qualified person to serve as a M'mber of the House of Representatives for the above-mentioned Electoral Distriot, and that the Nomination of Candidates will tako place at the Couri house, Gisborne, at noon, on FRIDAY, the Ist day of December, 1005; rnd that the Polling, if necessary, will take place on WEDNESDAY, the 20th day cf December, 1905, at tho several Polling Places within the Eaid Electorate. Candidates shall be proposed by one and seconded by another Elector, both of whom must be qualified ta vote at the Election of Member for that district.
