A report from South Westland states that two flaxmillers who wont south by the last trip of the Jano Douglas have boon drowned in an unoamod river. The men are said to be Barrett, of Mastodon, and Fr.yar, of Wellington. Three hoiso3 were also lost. It is supposed that they gaVout of the ford. An inquest was held the returning officer collecting returns for the eleolions, who happened to bo a Ji'P., but no further particulars w'll be available until Monday.
