FOUND DEAD.

Auckland, last n’ghfe. Yesterday morning, while walking tho river bank on tho eastern side, about a milo from Huctly, Mr Dick Mclntosh found the dead body of a man with -his throat cut almost from ear to ear. Though the man was a perfect stranger to tbe district, he had been scan about the neighborhood for a day or two. He appears to be about 40 years of age. The act was evidently committad on Friday.
